Media Guidelines


All members of the media must apply with required documentation to receive media credentials. All requests are subject to approval and the discretion of the organization. Upon application submission, you will receive an automated email confirmation that your application has been received. An additional email will be sent notifying you of the outcome of your request within 14 business days. You will also receive additional information regarding pickup of your credentials and other pertinent details prior to the event.

Online credentialing closes on Wednesday, May 16. After that date, you will need to register on-site and MUST bring the information listed below to verify your credentials. No exceptions.

Media Credentials:

All media must be 18 years of age or older to receive access to media’s restricted access areas. When you submit your application, you must upload credentials consisting of one of the following from the list below:

  • Company Business Card – must show name, title, and company name
  • Recently bylined article indicating that you are an editor, writer, reporter or regular contributor
  • Verifiable letter of assignment from a legitimate media outlet (for freelance writers, reporters or photographers)
  • Link to your online publication with your name and title in an editorial capacity (for internet news outlets)

NOTE: Bloggers, podcasters and YouTube Channels must provide documentation of their site’s history. Documentation includes established period of existence, traffic/subscriber data, and previous coverage of related industry news. Content must reflect current industry or related news. New content must be generated regularly.

Pulse Twin Cities Online Press Room

The Pulse Twin Cities Online Press Room will be the primary destination for journalists to source speaker/artist information and news before, during, and after the event. We will also upload photos from the event photographer for media use.

Social Media: We welcome and encourage coverage of Pulse Twin Cities in advance, on-site, and post event, utilizing @pulse.movement and #PulseTwinCities, via our official social media channels.

Interview Opportunities/Requests

Select credentialed members of the media will have access to interview opportunities with speakers/artists on-site. Please contact Susan Harris at with any interview requests.
